This is a great video mate . I’m just about to start my grassroots coaching journey . My lads 5 has just started at a team and they are looking for new coaches . Currently playing my last season of amateur Saturday football so feel like coaching could be a great way for me to stay involved and give back some of the knowledge I’ve learnt in 30 years of playing

Your insight has been so motivational to me I decided to apply to be a coach in my town and now am going to be teaching kids between ages 5-11. "Soccer" may be small here in airdrie alberta but hey, if I can be half as good as an influence as you there will be a lot of good groeth in the families and community here in general. @@CatalanSoccer Once the league starts up I will for sure, theres still some blizzards of snow and minus 15 degree weather here in alberta so I can send a photo once we are up and running. And I will have a bit of a story with it too for you.

Really good stuff again. One really helpful thing for me has been to get parents to set the pitch and goals up. They feel more involved and it frees me up. You might want to think about referring to "players", not "boys" or "man" of the match to make your stuff more inclusive.
