End-of-week H/H match recap: This week we had 5 H/H matches total, of which 2 were successful: Richard 1/2, Brett 0/1, Charles 1/2 I can't recall a week when all three regulars were selected for a H/H match. It's refreshing to see a little variety when it comes to celebrities playing the head-to-head match, and this week we got it (and we didn't need any silly new rules). It's too bad though that Anne Elder didn't get another shot - one more match would move her up to the big board, and she's a sharp individual and very good at the game. Perhaps her sporadic appearance on the show makes her less of a familiar face to contestants compared to some of the more frequent semi-regulars. Also, Bobbie Van has matched once in the past and is a good player, so he would have been a valid choice as well, but he too has been on so rarely recently. Here's the updated leader board showing the 11 celebs with at least 3 H/H matches, ranked by accuracy: Orson Bean - 100% (3 wins in 3 attempts). Gary Burghoff - 83.3% (5 wins in 6 attempts). TIE: Jo Anne Worley - 75% (3 wins in 4 attempts). TIE: Joyce Bulifant - 75% (3 wins in 4 attempts). TIE: Betty - 50% (15 wins in 30 attempts). TIE: Fannie - 50% (8 wins in 16 attempts). Charles - 45.9% (17 wins in 37 attempts). Jo Ann Pflug - 44.4% (8 wins in 18 attempts). Richard - 37.1% (98 wins in 264 attempts). Brett - 36.6% (15 wins in 41 attempts). Bert - 33.3% (5 wins in 15 attempts). *These stats include every head-to-head match from episode 1 through 495, excluding the lost/missing episodes: 31, 32, 33, 311, 312, 313, 324, 325. (As per MatchGameProductions, these episodes "are nowhere to be found and also aren't in the Goodson/Todman Library. Sadly, looks like they are lost forever!")

People on this post are saying that Leslie died before Brett. If you are getting your information from Wikipedia. Wikipedia is wrong about this.There was a Leslie Klein that died in 2006 but she wasn’t Brett’s daughter. If you read Brett’s obituary you will see that she was survived by her daughter Leslie. And if you read the Leslie Klein’s obituary that died in 2006, you will see that she was not related to Brett. Please check your facts. Thanks

Anyone can edit Wikipedia, but the sourcing is visible to all, and the information that Leslie died in 2006 was incorrect. It was referencing an obit of a Leslie Klein whose parents rae listed as Lois and Jonas Klein. Around July 2020, someone removed that erroneous information from Brett's Wikipedia bio. I think Leslie died in 2003, but I have checked in with her brother Adam Klugman for guidance. Keryn paul, the Associated Press published a correction to Brett's 2007 obit stating that her daughter Leslie Klein died in 2003, sadly. You probably saw the uncorrected story, which did list her as a survivor.
@proud_brettsomersfanclub86872 жыл бұрын
No, sadly Leslie died around 2001. I have a website to confirm this and there's the Match Game episode guide website where if you search for Brett Somers, Leslie is mentioned and they also say 2001.
