Poor Fannie! She spelled sesame as sesseme! A doctor who was a specialist in dyslexia which was not as well known then, figured out that Fannie had a very particular form of dyslexia from the kinds of misspellings she often did on this show. This woman helped Fannie get help and change her life. Fannie went on to be a bestselling writer!

Avery included sesame seeds with his answer (too specific) and Richard specified "toasted", whereas buns can be warmed by many other means ("bun in the oven").

If Richard doesn't like you or not want you to win, he will make sure of it. He is very smart, he chooses his answers carefully. He's cunning. He knows Lex would have said Roman empire. I would bet my whole paycheck. Then he answered wrong on all Lex's other questions.

I agree entirely. The thing is, though, I can’t figure out what Lex did that rubbed Richard the wrong way. He wasn’t obnoxious, showing off, or being an attention whore. His only “sin” seems to be being confident, charismatic, and successful, which seems to trigger some sort of deep rooted pettiness and insecurity in RD.
