What a GREAT video! Thank you so very much for talking through your "Cropper". I have only recently discovered Fabric Cafe, so finding 'old' videos like this that explain something that is so common place in your later videos is so helpful. I paused the video a few times, and I think the cropping tool is 14" long, either side of the 'L' shape, and 2" wide, with 1" markings to 12". Hope that helps others create this fabulous tool. Thanks FC Team. This is going to be so useful.

Donna. I absolutely love your videos. I wish I I found you years ago. If teaching is concise and to the point and I learned a lot. Keep on doing them. Great for beginners. Thank you so very much.

I was trying to answer someone's question on the I Love 3 Yard Quilts FB page and found this video that I have not seen before! Have missed it in over two years of watching FC! I miss the digital images lol but what a brilliant video! I've seen the cropper many times before of course but haven't seen it used like this. SO helpful and now I must make myself one 😁

We love our DIY cropper 😅 Yes, our older videos do not have digital images, but they still have lots of good ideas!

Thank you for the tool demo. It is so helpful. Personal problem: I just wish you had a 'by pattern' PDF listing of focus block sizes available. I have some special focus fabric that needs a 6 / 7-inch block and I have been trying to determine which pattern that it will work well with. But that info is not available until after purchase. I know that as my pattern collection grows, this will fix itself but for now.........:) Thanks for all the great videos.

This video came at exactly the right time for me. I have 2 medium sized prints in similar colours and a bright teal marble fabric as the contrast. I was thinking of Topiary but also tossing up with the Delight pattern from The Magic of Three Yard Quilts. Love your videos, always. Thank you. Which do you think would work best.

Why is it my two blocks never match up when sewing together and I have been very careful when cutting my strips?
@cindymcfarland46863 жыл бұрын
Double check your seam allowances if your blocks are pieced. Also be very careful when pressing. Using starch before cutting fabric also helps. I use Best Press.
