I cannot figure out how to create a question in Moodle where there are 8 possible correct answers and students only need to list 3 of them. Do you have any suggestions?

I've never seen anybody do what you want in moodle. I recommend finding a different way to assess the students in terms of the question you have in mind. Ie make 8 questions where each contains one correct answer or consider matching

@@EducationalResearchTechniques thanks for your suggestion. I ended up creating an essay question and modified the response template asking for 3 pieces of information. Thanks for all your videos, they're super helpful, quick and concise!
