do you take lidar scans of the locations to use it matchmove for precise scaling?

There were lidars in this project. So, we used them for matchmove(camera tracking).

I'm curious about the program you used And when you synthesize a building like that, if you install only a part of the chroma key fabric, can you synthesize all the upper parts? I'm curious about the principle

Of course. The technique you mentioned requires matchmove technology and all the geometric information about the scene (lidar or reference photos). Then, you can extend and synthesize anything in this space. We use programs like 3Dequalizer and Maya.
