Cherry notes for sure. Both are great. The French Oaked is delicious. Made me try Woodford Reserve Double Oaked which turned out to be a winner too.

Whenever at a restaurant and can't decide what to drink, I will most reach for a MM46 on a rock than anything else! Just restocked my regular MM as always have to have that on hand also. Cheers!

Always good to start with a subtle whiskey to start out, otherwise you could be turned off by an intense experience…
