Love your videos keep it up 👍 and of course I'd love to own that milwaukee gun. I use milwaukee drill and a ratchet but don't have the 1/2 gun. I will say the snapon cordless stuff is nice and seems to hold up for a long time, matco stuff holds up to but until recently snapon had them beat by speed on the ratchets. Now with matco extended ratchet id say the rpm is very close now and they are head to head contenders

I mean I would love the Milwaukee 1/2 mainly for the fact that I’m useing an old ir impact that doesn’t have a lot of power and has been giving me issues lately I. I’ve just been trying to pay some stuff down so I can afford a new half inch so like this would help but if it went to someone who needed it more and didn’t have a half inch impact that would be awesome too. Love watching your videos Justin

I think the battery slop is by design. I could be wrong but it seems to help absorb shock. It does make it seem cheaply made though and when it's really hammering away the battery can work itself loose.

Very informative. Seems to be pretty much the same issue for all Milwaukee owners with the battery slop. I personally own dewalt and the Mac ratchets. The ratchets both 1/4 and 3/8 have been nothing but phenomenal. They’re not the fastest but they’re workhorses for sure. The only gripes I have with my dewalt dcf899 like yours is 1, sheer weight. It’s not as balanced as my IR impact. Also maybe because I’m left handed I noticed it more but when I’m breaking stubborn bolts loose my thumb will hit the reverse switch and it’ll either switch directions or just stop dead. Seems to only be an issue with the one impact as I have virtually the whole dewalt impact lineup and it only happens with the high torque.
@Eggomania864 жыл бұрын
You can't go wrong with Milwaukee or DeWalt! They definitely make your job easier! Beats dragging around an air hose! I could definitely use another impact wrench for around the homestead with my restoration project of a 74 Dodge pick up. Also for our new tractor on the homestead.

Great reviews and giveaway. I just bought the Fuel M12 3/8 ratchet to do Headers and a Blower install on my Moostang and twice now I've somehow managed to fling the battery right out of the tool and bust up a few knuckles. I've never had power tools before other than House drills and Skilsaw's but if I had to make a decision again to buy a cordless ratchet, I believe I would have went with the Makita. The battery locks in better, it's a longer and therefore is a better leveraged tool. Lastly, the Milwaukee RPM is pretty slow compared to the Makita. All minor gripes though so far from a Home gamer. Even with those complaints, it's already saved my butt and made my garage time much more enjoyable. Good Luck to whoever wins!

Got the Gen 2 2863 Milwaukee one key 1/2 impact, mid-torque 1/2 inch. I've owned the 1/2 impact but had battery case cracks after about 18 months when it 1st came out! Nobody would warranty them so I switched to Milwaukee cause of the warranty & customer service. I owned a Matco 1/2inch grey gun (750ft lbs of torque) & both the DeWalt & Milwaukee blew it away. I gave it to my best friend (DIYer) after I got a case rebuild (it dropped off the lift). I went mobile & am almost exclusively Milwaukee because the keep updating with Gen 2 or 3, plus they keep innovating (under hood light, right angle die grinder, stubbies, H.O. batteries all on 2 platforms). Any time a battery die, just swap it with a fresh 1 & keep it moving (no down time). It also helps with less chargers cause I just carry 1 or 2 for huge jobs!

I love my Milwaukee tools. I have the 5inch fuel grinder which a lot of people seem to hate but I really love it. I've seen many reviews saying it has no power and to that I say BS sure it might have a tiny bit less power than a corded equivalent but if your not an idiot it's not a problem. I use it as my main grinder, I don't even own a corded one. I'd say the major reason for buying a cordless grinder is simply the convenience of not being tied down and for that I'd say it's worth EVERY PENNY.

Justin Dow... I used to have the grey and black Matco infinium line up (18v 1/2 impact, 14.4v drill, 10.8v 1/4 ratchet etc.) and the tools were great but all three of the 10.8v batteries and the 14.4v battery went bad. It pissed me off because the 14.4v battery is $220 so I traded all of the Matco cordless tools for the red Snap on KRA toolbox. I have a Ryobi drill and screw impact drive that was a Christmas gift. I still need a 1/2 and 3/8 impact and have been wanting to try the Milwaukee Fuel line up. So that would be awesome to win. Thank you sir for the opportunity to win. Anything would be greatly appreciated..
