Today on the Matco Tools truck we take a look at some KILLER deals on the stubby impact kit with the FREE stubby sockets. This proves two things: 1. I have NO WILL POWER and 2. Color matters when picking tools you don't really HAVE to Have! Matco needs to keep making the colored tools, because they sold me today!

@@deepsquat600 I’m in the same boat. I do mobile electronics, electrical and interior work so I am not a mechanic by any means and don’t use half the tools he does on a daily basis but the videos are fun and occasionally some really useful tools pop up I’d have never known about otherwise.

Yeah you know kind of his statement about Milwaukee I actually have a bunch of Milwaukee tools and for a do-it-yourselfer like myself they are freaking awesome especially since I live in an apartment they are necessary but I also could never see a electronic tool lasting for 15 or 20 years like say the matco impact wrench he just bought I could see that thing last until the year 2040

One reason the 80's were great was that we had a great man as President and we felt much safer with President Reagan in charge than with this weakling President we have now. Our enemies knew better than to challenge the U.S. then. And we saw a thriving economy take shape after the disastrous four years of Carter.

Cornwell offered a similar combo with the EXACT set of sockets about 5 years ago. Their impact was made by PTP and much smaller, but still 1/2 drive. The sockets and gun were all BluePower brand, they came with a 1/2 impact swivel too. I paid $269 according to my Cornwell history.

One of the best Matco videos to date! My dealer shows up on Friday as well. I grabbed the new 20v 3/8 impact kit (orange) and a few other things yesterday for the exact same reasons you mentioned about Milwaukee. He made me a killer deal and threw in a free boot cover to seal the deal! It's hard surviving the Matco truck around here too.

I love the maroon color on the impacts and other tools. Makes the tools look stronger for some reason than the orange or green. The red parts on my snap-on cordless impact always look maroon after one or two uses anyway, I know tubotowels makes the red look like new but maroon would save alot of cleaning time. Have one green handle snap on screwdriver and it always looks filthy. As for cases, color sure isn't going to influence weather or not I buy, the tools inside make that decision. Now if only there was a Marco dealer anywhere close😟

Lol, the stubby is amazing. Matco air tools are my favorite. Have the stubby, the 2779, the 0.85 hp straight and right angle die grinders, and the long barrel air hammer. We’re all mostly practical people when it comes to solving problems, so we need to come up with a practical justification for the tool purchase, but sometimes you just gotta say, “I want it”, haha.

I really like that 1/4" sealed head cordless ratchet. If I didn't already have the Snap-On 3/8" cordless ratchet (I don't want to deal with two different batteries), I would probably buy the orange one. If it was available in the long neck (in orange), I would buy it today. He's right about the direction switch so that thumb toggle is a great improvement.

I know this is a matco video but on the Milwaukee topic, from personal experience I have to say that Milwaukee and Dewalt are miles ahead of the battery powered tool truck tools. I had a snap on 1/2 inch hammer drill I kept it at home and used it for screws and drilling through wood. I put it on my work truck and tried to drill a 3/8 hole through 1/16 sheet metal and the gears powdered. I replaced it with a Milwaukee fuel drill and that thing has been amazing. Now I will say that I have many snap on tools but when it comes to battery powered tools Milwaukee and Dewalt rule the world.

I own that 3/8 long neck ratchet in green just like Michael had on the truck, I love it, the head width is slightly smaller than the matco 88 hand ratchet, it really gets in tight places. 2 things I wish were different about it, #1 I wish the battery wasn't as wide, it does hinder you in some extremely tight places, #2 I wish it had a button trigger instead of the paddle because sometimes you can't get your finger high enough on the paddle to push it in to engage and for whatever reason sometimes if you don't push the paddle in the center, it will not engage if you just push down on the edge of the paddle. Otherwise, I love it! Sometimes you just gotta buy what you want!
