I visited Matera 1985 and 1986 with my Ex. She was born there. Matera changed a lot and I remember mostly on the Sassi which we visited with a cousin. It was a rather nice time and I think to visit again with my wife to go by car through Italy. Remember and activate some memories. I didn't saw a lot. Now soon 40 years ago perhaps time to see again.. My goodness. Thank you for the beautiful impressions. Manfred

Hola guapos 😊. Que pueblo tan peculiar, sus sassis esculpida en la roca las hace diferente y q a pesar de los años de mantienen en pie. La verdad q me ha recordado a Jerusalén y tambien a un pueblo de Granada llamado Orce q tambien tiene sus Cuevas excavadas en la roca y hoy dia algunas són hoteles igual q aquí en Matera. El paseo ha sido bonito y tranquilo..Como siempre he disfrutado del tour. Os veo en el pròximo y hasta entonces os mando un fuerte abrazo.🤗😘

Most definte the BEST video I have watched about Matera for the last month. Thanks to you I was made to go through the pain and sorrow of Matera. We were there only last month and thanks to a person we came across ( his name is Michelangelo Trotta Bruno) at the church in Piazza San Francesco, we found the angel we have been waiting to come across. He spene abut two hours with us and we proceeded to Sasso Caveoso. The man comes from a noble family and kept saying that it is their fault that Matera citizens lived in fuedal times and condiitons, while I kept telling him that it is defiantely not their fault. Another thing he told us about are the knights of St. John who are better known in the island I live at. My grand-grandfather comes from Matera and married a local lady, and God willing I intend visiting again with my son and daughter who are both lawyers locally. Vincent Ciliberti - Malta

The little chihuahua is called "Minnie", she is a 4x4 and goes with us everywhere.🐩🦸‍♀️ But I always check that she is okay because she is very small and if I see that she gets tired, I carry her in my arms. Vooral met zonlicht zijn de kleuren oververzadigd. 5. 4K geeft inderdaad scherpe, maar vaak ook onnatuurlijk beelden: vaak lijken de opnames meer op getekende gravures. Persoonlijk vind ik dit niet mooi. Dit is uiteraard mijn persoonlijke mening en daar hoeft niemand mee akkoord te gaan. Wij waren - denk ik - ongeveer in dezelfde periode in Matera en maakten daarover ook een film. Die verschijnt één van de volgende weken op mijn kanaal. Het uitgangspunt is wel helemaal anders. Misschien vind je het wel leuk om die ook eens te bekijken. (Duur: 15:03). De voice-over is wel in het Nederlands, maar via de vertaalmachine wel ook in een andere taal te ondertitelen. Veel kijkplezier. You explicitly ask for an opinion, so here it comes. 1. Often very good and impressive recordings. 2. This is not actually a movie, but more like "watching" through film. 3. Especially way, way too long: this is a one-way shot, but that makes it boring in the long run. Who is watching this?? Dare to cut and assemble something 4. The colors are oversaturated, especially in sunlight. 5. 4K indeed produces sharp, but often unnatural images: the recordings often look more like drawn engravings. Personally I don't like this. This is of course my personal opinion and no one has to agree with it. We were in Matera - I think - about the same period and also made a film about it. It will appear on my channel one of the following weeks. The premise is completely different. You might like to take a look at that too. (Duration: 15:03). The voice-over is in Dutch, but can also be subtitled in another language via the translation machine. Enjoy watching.
