i got into metaphysics a couple of years ago, what a positive difference applying all the things i have learned has made to my life. I have recently become aware og yogananda, just bought 5 of his books. It truly is miraculous seeking God out through meditation, and surrendering your will daily to God. It is a paradox that by giving up your will to God, you actually end up doing your will without the struggle of trying to force things with the intellect. Yogananda and Jesus are 2 of my favourite yogis as what they teach is how to raise our consciousness and get closer to the divine. Thank you for the video.

thank you! ... I am a native Spanish speaker, so I am wondering if it would be maybe better to pray in Spanish. I am fluent in English (thought I had to look for the translation of the phrases using old English) I live in China and my daily languages is mostly English. I work writing in English.. etc... so do you think is better to use the translation? ... (maybe native languages come to deeper places of our mind, but I also think English is such an onomatopoeic language too... ).... oh and thanks again! I'm impress how I can truly feel the energy of this affirmation as I repeat it with you. I believe it must be very powerful if I can feel tickles all over my body as I repeat it with you and I just have done it two times until now

Mary, did Yogananda ever explain if there is a difference in doing the long affirmations versus doing the longer one?

He gave us many affirmations., so there is a variety to suit different temperaments. The shorter affirmations can easily be used throughout the day, as needed. The longer affirmations address the many layers of the subconscious mind that needs healing.
