I have the same pair as the expensive pair from target and I LOVE them! They are exactly the same and not nearly the cost of those.

Both look really good, I love the wash and the fit a bit better on the expensive pair and I believe you can still wear them after baby for quite some time, since the elastic bands are only on the sides and they look more like a regular jeans. So even though they are pricey, I would buy the expensive pair. Did you keep both of them or did you return one?

your comparison is not correct, your not comparing an apple to an apple. the comparison should be over the bump or under the bump maternity jeans, since you can find both over the bump expensive and cheap jeans.
