Honestly these classes shouldn’t be free bc these teachers go through α lot of schooling and experience to learn all of these things and they deserve to get compensated for their service. Articles on the internet are free but sit down classes like these deserve to make some money for their time and to pay for their building rent, electricity, water, up keep, etc

Just an update guys the same day I did these exercises with some sex with my husband, we went into labor. Naturally, my exact due day, With my second child. Was in labor for 4 hours then active labor for less than 2 hours after my water broke from home. I did these same exercises for my first. This really works guys I encourage you to stick it out at home before going to the hospital. You can do it ladies!

As an aspiring midwife, this overview of the birthing process has really helped to give me a good understanding of what to expect during birth as the midwife. As a young woman who has not experienced giving birth myself, I want to know as much as possible, to be the best nurse that I can be, even without having had a birth of my own. I don’t want to allow the lack of having had a babe of my own to discourage me, as I am praying about the direction the Lord will have me to go, and I see this wonderful work as a calling. Thank you for this!

Watched her videos before my first birth. When I was in early labor and just completely ignored it like she suggested. Or rather I was in denial 😆 About after 12 hrs of early labor, I started active labor. It hit me very hard and things progressed very quickly. My daughter was born 2.5hrs later. I was one of those unicorns that had a super fast labor and pushed my daughter out in just a few minutes. I later found out that my mom and sister also had rapid labors! My OB thought I still had a few days before my daughter would be born so it was a major surprise when she came so quickly. I ate chocolate ice cream before my active labor started. I think it got my oxytocin flowing. 😂

With my first, labor started with my water breaking. She was born 4 and a half hours later with 20 minutes of pushing. With my second and third babies, it seemed like I was in early labor for weeks that I just ignorned. Active labor was about 2 hours long with both of those babies. With my second, I never pushed once. She came out with FER. And my third came out after 1 to 2 pushes. It was really one long push but I let up just a little at crowning and then went full force.
