Support units isnt usable in RA, SSS, PVP, Auto chess (CN incoming 6 months). If you use support units you cant unlock auto deployment to farm mats or used in other future events that require only operators you own.

Better than the talent, even with her PHY-Y mod. Shining can get much bigger numbers on-skill, since that's a proportional buff, but that's got a two minute cooldown versus Thorn's 210% uptime at M3, and he can spread his buff out further. He also more healing per second than Shining does off-skill, too, even on single target. Poor girl just can't catch a break.

Let be honest, Thorns AMAZING only if u comparing with other support characters, but in nowadays bc of some characters are broken (we all know who it is) Thorns is weak compared to them. So in meta today u dont need some dps with AmAzInG supps bc full stack dps team more revelant then them. Yep its sad and game become not so flex and fun, but for this we all have Wisadel, Logos etc.

You control the buttons you press. Plus if I already have Wisadel and Logos that just means I don't have to pull for anyone for meta reasons ever again and can just save my pulls for operators with unique and weird kits that look fun to use, and Lobster very much fits the bill.

Look I will be honest here, Thorns Alter is... just a decent unit. Is he amazing? Nope. He is not meta-defining at all and certainly you will NEVER use this guy above Skalter and tbh the majority of supports in this game are better than him. His S3 is the skill you will always use very strong skill imho BUT tbh I would rather use a Quick Deploy or even Dorothy before I touch this guy. Too high of an SP cost for very little benefit 60 SP cost for a 23 seconds "debuff" is PATHETIC I mean why man? Suzuran's S3 is qidely considered to be extremely outdated and mediocre for modern Arknights, and it has a whopping 50 seconds duration! For just a 70 SP cost... You can make him work I guess, but you will NEVER use him before even a mediocre unit like Suzuran and tbh his stats are non-existent so most AOE attacks will oneshot him meaning the hardest stages are out of the question, while the normal stage I don't think you would want to wait a whole whopping minute to press his S3 to kill a boss (just deploy Surtr instead man) so yeah 5/10 unit not very recommended.

the duration is s3 is 60 ,but no As Frost said, he will immediately charge when the skill is active the duration of his skill is 23 seconds + 3 seconds of talent So the cooldown of S3 is 34 second

S3 has a cooldown of 34 seconds because it doesn't have any sp lockdown, not only does he have around the same uptime as Suzuran but his skill cycles twice as fast wich is always preferable for the current game pacing. If you're gonna complain at least try being right.
