I loved this recap/highlights/BTS. So awesome to quickly track our favorite athletes & get to know them as people as the competition progressed!

Great way to show the behind the scenes as well as being respectful to everything that happened

good job with finding a way to showcase your athletes while being respectful to the situation.. i think jason (and dallin) were the turning point of the weekend to bring some life back inside of dickies. whether you believe it shouldve gone on or not.

This was awesome. Very respectful given the circumstances and still showcased the stories of the weekend.

Jayson's wife is a delight. Genuinely seems like a lovely human ❤ it was also great to see the whole crew of athletes and hear from them. Good job to all of you. To all of you at HWPO--nice job on this video. I cannot imagine how difficult has been for those of you with so many eyes on your every move. Appreciate you all.

I'm still shook that "sledgehammer swing to tire" was going to be an actual event at The FREAKING Crossfit Games...🤦♂️

Have you ever tried it? It’s actually pretty hard under an elevated HR. We did a lot of that in the Marine Corps as exercise.

@@Gamer1000-y2g I love the movement, you're right it's a great exercise but I just don't feel that it's a "Games" level movement is all

And with it having to go straight midline and behind your head. I’d request a helmet. I don’t want to lose teeth or a forehead smash 😵

No athletes feedback on Event 1? Getting input from them on the swim is important.
@serraangelokc3 ай бұрын
A lot of athletes have been putting their thoughts in Instagram. It’s probably out of respect for the situation as why they didn’t include that.
@RogueCylon3 ай бұрын
@@serraangelokc it’s not disrespectful to tell of your own experiences. Some other athletes were on the edge of drowning.
@serraangelokc3 ай бұрын
@@RogueCylon Ehhhhh….maybe, but I’m not convinced of that. The day was very traumatic for many folks and if they are going to keep the days footage out, it didn’t make sense to include interviews. Like I said, many athletes are doing their own videos or putting their thoughts on other SM platforms.

@@serraangelokc it comes across that theyre just sidestepping the cf clusterfcuk as oppose to an "out of respect" decision. There has been an observable quietness from this quarter as regards condeming cf negligence anyway

Why didn't Victor Hoffer compete?

He withdrew about 20 minutes before the event started. He’s been battling with some injuries. He will be back 💪

Would HWPO ever consider developing their own competition? xx

Was really important CrossFit Games 2024 went through so athletes were able to show love and respect for Lazar, and so also they spoke for all who were watching the games and wanted to remember Lazar.
@RogueCylon3 ай бұрын
CFHQ manipulated the athletes into thinking they had a choice to cancel the games. The decision was already made. Several times es Dave said the decision byCFHQ was to continue.the rest was a sham. Worst tribute ever for an athlete, and a total lack of respect.

So, this pretty young girl was right in front of me in line & Matt comes in & waves her in. It hurt my feelings. Lol…my name is Frasier…just 1 letter away from being related! Seriously, I was happy for her & happy to be right there in the right line when Roman, Matt, & many others were there. If not for the tragic loss on Thursday, it would have been perfect…this weekend was on my bucket list…to see these amazing people in Texas instead of just watching on KZbin. Friday night was super cool.
