I used their math curriculum last year and it drove me CRAZY how our pages would slip off the spiral or tear - the new binding looks sooo much better!! We've since switched to a mastery type curriculum, but I still enjoyed this walkthrough. Thanks for sharing!

Hey Lissa hope you and your family are doing well! If I remember correctly your kids were doing Saxon math, what made you change to TGATB?

Yes! We were, with my Bell’s palsy Saxon required too much of me and TGTB was a much easier option for us. Sometimes I couldn’t talk and TGTB has very minimal (compared to Saxon) to explain.

This was literally going to be my same question. Do you feel they are comparable ? Or is Saxon a little more challenging for them ? I have a 1st and 2nd grade and we grabbed TGATB for 1st grader but this is a review year for her since we tried to teach them on the same level saxon last year. Was wondering if the TGATB was strong enough to teach them new concepts from scratch. I am also praying for your healing. I am sooo grateful for all the information you put up. It is soo helpful. Takes stress out of homeschooling for me.
