Math Lebanese Brevet Session 2019 QV

This video tutorial shows how to solve question 5 in the Lebanese Brevet Math session 2019 for grade 9. Geometry Questions. It shows how to find a missing side in a triangle using pythagorean theorem and how to use Thales' theorem when we have parallel lines. The question also tackle similar triangles and ratio and proportion between corresponding sides in a triangle. It also shows how to prove that a line is tangent to a circle being parallel to another tangent to the same circle and perpendicular to the diameter and more.

You wrote the same ratio but in different order. And this is not Thales, it is the ratio of similarity. It works also.
