The area of the ellipse is very easy, simply pi*a*b. But the circumference so difficult. 🤷 Can the circumference integral formula only be calculated approximately by numerical iteration algorithm method, using specific calculator applications? Thanks for sharing this interesting video!

He should have said, it turns out that integral can't be solved in terms of regular functions. Special functions were invented to deal with the problem. Look up "elliptical functions." It's amazing just a small change from the shape of a circle requires a whole new set of special functions.
