EC = "a" ; EF= "b" a = 2/cos60° = 4 cm b = (a-1)/tan30° = 3√3 cm x = 1 cos60° + b cos30° x = 0,5 + 4,5 x = 5 cm ( Solved √ )

The answer is 5. That is actually one of the easiest problems that I have learned. Somehow easier because I am aware of the easiest construction in geometry!!! I hope that I am definitely studying correctly!!!
