I also thought that most of the games looked very similar and very familiar but actually, part of that is that the trailers are very similar. They show things with visual impact like explosions, running and gunning, and grotesque looking creatures. I assume that it's more difficult to show great user interfaces, good plotting, at least slightly believable characters, minimum repetitive game loops, etc. Also, there really is a difference between a frost punk builder and an FPS shooter and making/managing a dozen clones of yourself.

A Silent Desolation HEAVILY reminds me of Pragmata! The lunar Sci-fi theme, guy in spacesuit, being on the moon, hacking devices etc. it looks like Pragmata to me, (minus the backpack loli.) This game should hopefully tied me over until Pragmata releases.

quite a few definitely are similar, and thats why i choose the superior looking game, for instance, to buy dying light 2 now or dead island 2, both have brutal combat, guns, good story, and more, howevr, parkour in DL2 is insane, so id choose that. Games are expensive and most are near identical when you look at them holistically, However , i must say, banishers ghost of new eden was very good, new IP and good combat and story

@@stan_p I do not think so, because this game is made by people, who had shot a film 'Best in hell" (yeah, the same name). This film was shot by Wagner group. I recomend to watch, because it is more anti-war film than war film, fighters there are not painted in blach or white - both sides of conflict are grey. And I hope, that the game will save this concept.
