Sir as u have said we can make 1 only by two methods either by division or interchange why the other method that is why we cannot make 1 algebraically

Rishabh Basics yes u can also use that... But the answer will be different from student to student... That's why... We should avoid that operation.

MathCom Mentors sir i am having one more query related to this topic , why can't we use both row as well as column transformation in different steps as uh have mentioned it is becoz of symmetry to make Identity matrix bt by appying both the operation in "A" as well "I" parts ,eg {c1-c2 in A part as well as c1-c2 in I part }also in argumented matrix (A:B) I hope you are understanding my problem

Rishabh Basics main issue is in A:I form... The Rows are COMMON... So if we will strict ourself to Rows operation only... Then by default the operation will be applied to both parts of Augmented matrix... So we don't need to apply operations twice... Hopefully u got the concept.. Else u can Whatsapp me on my number
