Then there's the lux who needs to hit her bind but 0.2 seconds off the bind probably doesn't matter and once again he's probably dead anyways if he's in a bad position. Against a GP + Bel + Samira, it is reasonable to go armor boots.

@@witchhunternl9777 armor boots reduce damage by attacks by 12%, means belveth does a lot less damage, just like samira and gankplank who are all champs that are really strong lategame. even though they had a lot of true damage, it was the better choice to buy armor boots.

Not sure if it would be better though, goredrinker gives the heal and some omnivamp. Mathematically correct sett doesnt like to build resistances cause it stalls his grit build up, so even with all that health he is pretty squishy without his w. Heartsteel does give some healing, but I’m not sure if it will proc enough in a team fight to be better than goredrinker cause full build goredrinker is like an 8 second cooldown. Could definitely be something worth trying though to see if its better.

@@nbriggy the true matematically correct sett doesnt care for omnivamp really, at its core that build is mainly to amass the most max health as phisicaly possible and delete the whole enemy team with a single W punch, so that new mithic with infinte health scaling plus grasp are the most optimal for this, it can work every game? no, it is the best build? no, but if you pull that off its bloody satisfying

Sett only wants HP and AD, and with the addition of Heartsteel, he'll be an absolute monster. because he'll also be stacking up even MORE hp with it. Which means more likely to survive to get those off, and more likely to get multiples off

Zwag a warmogs at the end would've given you more damage, if you noticed, the higher AD you have, the more of your grit is converted to damage. After finishing steraks your conversion was 96% so a warmogs would've added 786 damage to your W, much more than the ~500 from hullbreaker

Heartsteel gives permanent stacking health. W true damage is based on health. This plus warmogs alone could probably one shot people. Would love to see it

Nah, at base Sett's W is 160+25%Grit. Grit caps at 50% of your max health. 12.5% of your max health isn't too impressive even if you have 4KHP. However, the Grit scaling increases by 25% per 100AD, so buying something like Heartsteel->Sterak's is a much better angle, since you'll have 3260HP and 64 bonus AD, dealing 668 bonus damage at lv18, rather than 457 from Heartsteel->Warmog's. Of course, you probably won't be at lv18 when you get your second item, so something like Spear or Titanic Hydra is a better pick, but the point is that you need AD to deal good W damage.

hi sett main here running hail of blades over conq is actually really good cause he gets so much more damage off quicker and cleaner and even in extended fights his kit allows for insane damage off the first 4 hits with sustain o the next without conq plus its easier to trade then again i also run eclipse with bork then steraks black cleaver and either spirit or titanic also the true damge is only for the center very easy to dodge especially now that every champ has a dash blink or fuck you button and im not sure why people are annoyed with his true damage when every other champ in the game that has it is not only guarenteed its spammable and does way more

Man, I play gp and as much as they say he counters sett it is mostly a skill matchup, or, pretty much if you do anything wrong as gp you’re simply dead, you gotta take ignite instead of tp and grasp instead of first strike for better chances

Please play Lethal Tempo Sett! You will be able to burst anyone 1v1. On-hit works so well cause his Q does percent health damage. It is the biggest of flexes cause you almost cannot be stopped. And the punches fly soooo fast

@@simpanlimpan8063 For a quick burst, yes. But most times in the top lane you are facing another tank/brusier, so the extended trading give lethal tempo the advantage. I have steamrolled many with it, cause it's almost too much to deal with. You just have to kite my Sett or it's GGs.

Hail of blades is much better into a matchup where they have a good disengage though because by the time your LT is stackes up they will already be gone. HOB is a really good rune for quick trades where LT is better for long extended trades. Also worth nothing that HOB had a shorter cooldown than bone plating.

Also on general I find people don't understand how the fuck to deal with HOB sett in laning phase as you chunk them every 12 seconds or so whenever they step up but they can't start fighting back after your Q/EQ because you still have W/EW.
