You guys are awesome. I am thoroughly enjoying living vicariously through you until my build is done. When I saw the title I got a little worried as I have the same system but it is not hooked up yet. Encouraging that it was a fairly simple fix. I will also add that Rixen’s has been amazing to deal with. They are old school and actually answer the phone 🤩.

I really appreciate you posting this video. As much as I enjoy your travel and family vids, your van build, maintenance and tips videos are my favorite. I'm currently building out my van and plan to use the same heating system as you. I was waiting to hear how it was performing once it got cold so this was perfect timing. Great to hear it was a relatively simple fix and you are all warm again. Please keep the van videos coming!

To bad you didnt go up a little further to hennigars and buy yourselves some white peppers and purple peppers for your meals along with really great fudge they make. They are the only ones in the martimes with the peppers

I bought my system just after you got yours. Your absolutely right you get what you pay for. They are an amazing company to deal with. However with all those electronics I never leave without a cheap electric heater for a backup. Lol

Wow I am sure glad you said you had the "beta version," as I may have decided against ordering the rixen heater system otherwise. An over 5k heater should not stop working....ever lol. However if this happens to me, I probably could not fix it on my own....this concerns me....I heard the cheap sbars work like champs.......Ill go for RIxen anyway.
