The blonde girl is Bridgit Mendler who (unfortunately) only released one album and is now a student at MIT and Harvard Law. The girl who sang the first song is Naomi Scott who recently played Jasmine in the live action Aladdin film. The third girl with really short hair is Hayley Kiyoko, a popular pop singer with multiple albums who is often called "Lesbian Jesus" by her fans.

You pretty much got it right at 12:02. The band members all met in detention, they weren't good friends prior to the impromptu song in the drama classroom. The detention room also had an old lemonade drink dispenser and so they got the lemonade and liked it and named their band after it. The teacher that showed up is the drama director. The school keeps trying to defund the drama department to better fund football, so the drama teacher is happy that some kids are enjoying making music. They have also been using their band's popularity to change the school rules and stuff Also, Determinate is by far my favorite song in this movie. I used to dance to it in my living room with my little sister when this came out. We had the whole song list on a CD and we would just play the songs on a loop. Those memories came flooding back when you said that the last song was 'Determinate'. I pumped both my fists and cheered out loud. Totally sang along with all the parts that were played for us.

I need to correct one thing, they didn't name their band after the lemonade. They took the name because the lead singer of the rival band called Stella "Lemonade Mouth" when she spit the lemonade on him, so they took the name and made it their own.

I think Lemonade Mouth as a whole movie not just the songs is quite different from the typical DCOM. If I’m remembering right the movie deals with some pretty serious themes including the main girl’s dad being in jail for murder 💀

I don't remember them ever revealing the reason the dad is in prison in the film, but he was convicted of armed robbery and manslaughter in the book. The mom is not dead in the books, but abandoned her when she was a toddler. I have never read the books, but just have seen details like this mentioned a lot when this film is brought up.

This is legit one of my favorite movies ever. The plot is air-tight, but really what stands out is the music. Plenty of other Disney Channel movies have good music but not a single one holds a candle to this one, if you ask me. Bridgit Mendler (the main girl) also made a good amount of her own music not long after this movie came out and it all slaps. You should listen to it. She's been spending the last number of years getting a bunch of really impressive degrees, which pretty much makes her the coolest person ever.

this movie is probably my favorite non animated disney movie. it’s honestly one of the best non animated movies disney has ever made (aside from camp rock). the music in this movie is so amazing and the storyline is also amazing. you should 100% react to the movie bc it’s gives more context on some of these songs as well as the scenes! you’ll love the movie! it’s a kids movie so there will be some cringe moments but it’s such a fun movie

I was worried you wouldn't do Determinate and was happy to see it at the end, one of my top three favorites in this movie. Then I was disappointed because you missed Breakthrough, which is another favorite. Then I was hopeful that we'll see a part 2 and get to watch the rest of the songs. Lemonade Mouth was and still is my favorite Disney Channel movie! And Determinate is my favorite DC song. I love Bridgit's (the one that sings the most) voice and Naomi's (the girl from She's so gone) powerful singing. If you want to hear more high notes from these two, I recommend checking out Livin' on a high wire, I myself didn't know about this song's existance till recently (it was only included on DVD, I think?). Also More than a band is a beautiful song imo and Breakthrough is fun
