Profit of the business increases from 5% to 7%, or by 2%. Profit of A increases by Tk. 400. So, 2% of the investment of A = Tk. 400 A's total investment = Tk. 400 × 100/2 = Tk. 20000 A's investment is 2/3rd of the capital of the business. So, B&C's total investment = Tk. 20000 × 3/2 × 1/3 = Tk. 10000. So, B's investment = Tk. 10000 × 1/2 = Tk. 5000. Profit received by B = Tk. 5000 × 7% = Tk. 350

I didn't find anything about the other given statement : p+q+r = 1 What is the use of this statement for this problem. And if i just replace a, b and c with their given values in left hand side then it looks more easier. But i couldn't submit the picture here. Can i mail you?

In Math no C you could not multiply by 12 with total value. I think it's wrong ans.correct answer is Tk.794400

Thanks for your comment. Here the salary is 20,000 per annum not per month. If the question would 20,000 per month then the answer would be multiplied by 12. Hope, here the shown answer is correct. Thanks.
