Even though he's always seemed quiet & timid, Rose has that dog in him. You could tell he's got raw emotion in him. he may hold it close to heart but he takes it all out on the court. Huge fan

Math you got some really great episodes - but this one right here ranks amongst the best. D. Rose is prolific in every aspect and his story is extremely compelling/extraordinary. By far the most athletic point guard to ever touch the rock and yes that includes Ja Morant/Russell Westbrook and others. Some may say Penny Hardaway but his athleticism was way different and in another class. Great Episode! #Salute

Derrick rose has to have some of the best stories ever. Never forget the time he came to play my school here in Chicago way back before his years in memphis , Such a very quiet person he was very serious but had the nicest personality and friendliest person ever, they beat my school bad that game rose only had like 17 points while one if his teamates tim flowers was the player of the game rose on his high school years was very passive and less of a scorer but when it came to the moments he would make the biggest shots , He was already famous during his highschool years too. My school was packed than ever during that game. He’s the reason i love and started watching basketball. Derrick rose was a killer on the court he may have been quiet and shy but when he stepped foot on that court his game was always doing the talking. He may not have a championship yet but he’s a true champion in everyones eyes. Still in the league after having almost every injury u can think of . Not so many if they were in Derricks shoes would be in the league in there 14th year. But Derrick is and still hooping.

But the thing is everyone in Chicago understood why. Rose wasn’t there to have a good time, he was there to ball. He wasn’t there to make friends. I love Drose and the player he’s become after everything that’s happened. But we (fans AND players) were robbed of the legendary career he should’ve had. Forever Chicago’s MVP. ❤️🌹

I understand now why he gave his mother so much love when he won the MVP. Some, not all, mothers have this intuition about their children. She was totally committed to keeping him focused on his goal of being in the NBA.

One of my favorite games watching him play was at the United Center in high school. He sent the place up and first ever seeing him show emotions in a game

I know some folks are going to hate because he doesn't have gawdy numbers compared to what cats are posting in today's end to end game but Strick(Rod Strickland) was a baller. Love the story, D! ✊️

I live in Chicago and I have lost so many people to gun violence I can’t wait to move away from here . My family is very cool with D Rose and my cousin DJ played with him at Simeon on 87th . He is definitely down to earth and a humble person from what my auntie says .
