You should react to her more head voice showcase performances like *Home* from Masked Singer and *In the flower garden*.

The more I watch this song the more I appreciate it. Very emotional journey. And doing all those constant high notes cannot be easy. You always have to be on it.

You can't top that... period.. This song is in 2 languages.. very much a gospel song and famous in Korea. Her version is the definition of masterpiece and legendary.. Only time she's performed it live like that.. She is fluent in at least 3 languages (korean, english, french) and i think possibly another.. Greatest live vocal performance I've ever heard..

So far this is the hardest song that Sohyang ever sang, and she only sang it one time only :)

Wherever Sohyang is, there I am. I'm not a Christian, but with Sohyang's songs I can feel the Love.

Well, actually she sang this song in 2 languages, Korean and English. However, her major in college was French literature... so that makes it at least 3.

She also sings in Italian in songs like The prayer and i think she sang in Chinese last year. Sadly i don't think she has ever sung in French :(

The most difficult song of her 👍❤️👌
@skylerpowers88713 жыл бұрын
This actually is just Korean and English; the lyrics onscreen in the a cappella part were just stylized. However, she DOES technically speak 4 languages lol (Korean, English, Mandarin, French). This performance is insane though. Perhaps her most vocally impressive ever. Great reaction!

And sang in Italian whenever she sang the prayer

@@liamcuerquis9631 Yes! Although I don’t think she can actually speak it. But I’ve heard she’s quite good at singing in it!

@@skylerpowers8871 we know she's quite fluent in singing the song as she showcased she's sang it more than three times

@@liamcuerquis9631 yep, and I remember people were saying her Italian was better than Michael Bolton’s. I don’t speak Italian in the slightest though, so I can’t judge.

Thanks a lot for the video. The song is so heavy and difficult even though, she made great performance for the people who are suffering from many problems.
@Rosannasfriend3 жыл бұрын
The song isn’t actually that difficult, if you listen to Ailee singing it. It’s difficult but So Hyang arranged it in a way that would be harder. She added way more high notes and way more parts to make it like a symphony.
@gregorydaude47813 жыл бұрын
@@Rosannasfriend well yeah the comment was obviously about Sohyang's arrangement who is actually very hard and not only because of the high notes
@yukuolee37403 жыл бұрын
This is a gospel song about God being your companion in life, especially during the dark hours. You know that Sohyang is a devout Christian and this performance is particularly powerful with her belief. You are right about Sohyang's language transcends the language barrier. There is no mistaking the emotional vibe you get from her performances. This arrangement of "Everyone' is particularly technically challenging as Sohyang mentioned it herself. And she never performed this song again.

Ty 💯 - 👉 Song w/ English Subtitles “Everyone” vimeo.com/249195615 (Vimeo has lots of her songs w/ Eng subs) Yes, a gospel song (but if ya think bout it ... all her songs have a road that lead to God) 👼🏻 Sohyang said this was her most challenging performance. ✌🏼❤️ - 🇺🇸Dear

why are so many people reacting this now?

I believe she speaks 4 or 5.languages. Yes that was about God. Comes from Psalms. Yay tho I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me. Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me. Now if you listen to when she starts singing in English, you will hear the Korean translation of this. Just like she said cane, and not rod or staff. It is Psalm 23:4.

You reacted to the one without the eng sub when it's of utmost importance to know what the song is all about when the song sung is not your native lang. I was able to appreciate her emotions so much better because I watched the one with the eng sub. You've been advised by a commenter in a previous reaction to look into the one with eng sub and it's funny you chose exactly the one without and wondering whether it's korean or eng. I'm sure Korean and Eng don't belong to the same lang family, so it can't be confusing. Sigh
