Mathieu van der Poel | The Phenomenon

Mathieu van der Poel is a Dutch cyclist, who has become one of cycling's most exciting riders. He is a five-time Cyclocross World Champion, a former European Mountain Bike Champion and the current Road World Champion. Van der Poel is a prime example of genetics playing a role in sport: his father Adrie is a former Cyclocross World Champion and his grandfather Raymond Poulidor was an eight-time podium finisher at the Tour de France.

Mathieu is an alien on a bike. When you watch him riding you know if he there to win or not. 2023 was 4 massive wins worlds in cyclo and road, MSR and Roubaix. Hard to do better. Love his style and diversity.
