Amazing video! I’m planning to go there in February. Is it possible to swim on the beaches, or is the water too shallow? And are there any good restaurants?

Hello, yes, Mathiveri has beautiful beaches for swimming. They have bikini beach where tourists can swim with bikini on, the local beach or public beach also very nice but must wear clothes on when swimming. We only stayed there overnight and went swimming on the small island Mathiveri Finolhu, you can walk to it if it's low tide and if it's high tide, it's best to rent a kayak. Here is a video of that island kzbin.info/www/bejne/pH-waXSGlKqgd6c . Not so many restaurants there, we ate at Second Home Restaurant, food was good. :) Will post vlogs from my Maldives trip on my other channel Tours with Gen.

Helpful video!🙏 Beaches look beautiful but I think there is nothing for tourists!🤷♀️ I am not sure how I feel the vibes there.🤔 I have 6 nights and thinking about going to Ukulhas and eventually another Island. Thinking about Mathiveri...but after this video I am not sure.🤷♀️ It feels sad...no vacation vibes! You know what I mean?🤣

Hi! You got it right. The beaches are nice but too quiet. We stayed in Ukulhas for 2 weeks and we just took an overnight visit on this island and that was good enough. :) I will be uploading our travel vlog soon about Ukulhas. :)

@@tonggotraveller looking forward for this! I love beautiful beaches...but I don't think that is the right island for us... better stay 6 nights in Ukhulas?🤷♀️ Or maybe split with Thoddoo?

@@andreapfistner8543 I think it's best to split so you get a chance to see Thoodoo as well. We were thinking of exploring more islands as we had two weeks there but we were unlucky with the weather, it was raining most of the time.

There is a small island very close to Mathiveri, you can just swim across or rent a kayak, here the island kzbin.info/www/bejne/pH-waXSGlKqgd6c..
