in 16 c , you are measuring whole length when you should be measuring E to the coast...should be 360 km

Q11 just really annoyed me a bit, because it shows 4 on the side, and 3 on the bottom. Yet it’s been drawn as 5 and 4… is that supposed to be like that, or is it just added one extra? Meaning it may be wrong????

I drew it wrong! Of course it should be 3 and 4. I keep meaning to put a note on it. The principle behind the answer is correct though.

Because 1/6 and 1/4 represent two different ways she could win, so we add to get the total. 10/64 would probably be OK in this case as you are not asked to simplify, but I would always play safe and do so.

Because we use the powers of 10 to describe how the number had been changed. As it happens I just released two videos on that topic today which might help. They are called Standard Form parts 1 and 2.

There are no more recent papers released by the exam board.

Why is AQA harder than Edexcel glad to be doing Edexcel after seeing these questions

I think it's more a matter of question style rather than one being harder.

interesting, no one has pointed out that for questions 11 you are doing 4 by 5 instead of 3 by 4 ;) edit: and this is why you do not have enough space in the last one
