It's nearly Collatz Conjecture... For even numbers, divide by 2 For odd numbers, multiple 3 and then add 1. Pick 3, (3×3)+1 = 10 10 ÷ 2 = 5 (5×3)+1 = 16 16÷2 = 8 8÷2 = 4 4÷2 = 2 2÷2 = 1 (1×3)+1 = 4 Hence a loop is formed but it's not a blackhole.
