I solved it twice before watching how you solved it I got it right both times but idk I thought there is no way that this is the answer 🙈

🌶🥵 I didn't remember the integral of sec, so went with sec=1/cos =cos/cos^2=cos/(1-sin^2) --->(1/2)ln((1+sin(t)/(1-sin(t)). That gives a messy answer.

Yikes! That integral I would just put to memory!!! I show how to derive it in this video around 44min mark. 😉 kzbin.info/www/bejne/Zn7Ukn9pm9yDq5Ysi=BkOmYnIgzMtGHaf_

Wow. Working that out would take me the better part of a couple hours, not 20 minutes! As a future calculus tutor, I shudder to think about a student showing up my at my office hour with this kind of complex question, and having to come up with the answer on the spot!

Honestly, this is a lot more difficult than any run of the mill question a typical calculus student has to do. So don’t stress! I put some tricky ones on this playlist as a fun challenge, but even a lot of my A students wouldn’t be able to solve this immediately.
