Idk if it is the game or not but everytime I played the game I always lost lots of fans and never had the advantage in terms of fans But in the end I would always win the gm of year award. Maybe that's a glitch or something. Like the ratings

I don't think you should sim all off days. To keep in spirit with the "challenge" theme, you could choose one superstar each week to receive a popularity boost with a trophy date or other brand invasion. This will help you get better ratings and help build up the rivalries. Just a thought, but I'm still enjoying the series so far regardless.

The way I did it back in the day was have 3 jobbers for handicap matches signed to 5 week deals. They would lose 5 weeks straight but 9 people would win 5 weeks straight then I'd trade the 3 jobbers for one guy on the other brand and draft a new jobber from the free agency for 5 weeks just to help boost some of the struggling talent, but a 10 week win streak can completely change a superstars popularity which is helpful with the cruiserweights.

The trick is to change the matches just a bit so it's not the same thing every week, rotating the time slots or swapping the team the jobber takes on.

2008 general manager mode was awful. There were so many superstars miz on the roster. 07 is the best one. I would rather play 07 GM then I would to 2k22 GM.
