They both have their own beautiful individual sound. I thought the strat sounded sweeter the tele meaner. They both have their places. Much respect 🫡 to your playing maestro.

Matheus your guitar playing is so awesome I don't believe there is any comparison to which is better the tele or the strat. They both have their distinct sounds I've always loved the tele for its twangy sound. The strat has more deeper mellow tones . The way you play I believe you could pick up any guitar and make it sound awesome !!

Great playing! I liked both, but for this style I preferred the tone of the Tele. The Strat looked really cool though.

@calvinbass1839 Жыл бұрын
Both are tasty! Can't say one tone is better than the other they are both great, just different. I guess it boils down to what mood your in when it comes time to play. Thank you for sharing. Have a blessed day.

Tone aside, I think the additional tension/feel from a Tele steers the player towards that classic chick'n pick'n style. More noticeable with the double stop. Also, I firmly believe that Strats sound better tuned to Eb with a heavier gauge string set up too.
@RedDirtRules Жыл бұрын
Damn dude. I love a Tele but they both sound great. The Strat gives it a more Vince Gill, Albert Lee vibe....so it's all good. Love your playing. You got it going on man 💪
@matheuscanteri Жыл бұрын
Yeaaah! That’s why I went for that bridge/middle position! Albert Lee, Mark Knopfler, Vince Gill! It’s great! Just makes you play different too!

Beautiful guitars brother , prefer the sound of that tele for that style of playin' ... of course ! Sounded killer man , thanks :>)
@fgmmusic Жыл бұрын
The highest register of the strat delivers a more pedal steel sounding tone. Do you keep your whammy bar tight against the body (using spring tension) so it doesn’t drop pitch when playing pedal steel ?
@matheuscanteri Жыл бұрын
Hey thanks for watching! I have it set floating so I can bend higher or lower, so I usually avoid the 2 or 3 string pedal steel bends, because it just doesn’t work.

Cara, as duas são espetaculares. Mas parece que a teleca fica mais quente pra esse tipo de linguagem. Mas é impressionante como a Strato é versátil
