I love how they made the older 5th grade girl nice with big sister traits. Befriending and looking out for the little ones. Unlike in the book when she was some kind of sarcastic bully. I love how all the kids, regardless of their age differences stuck together since they ALL shared the burden of dealing with the biggest and more dangerous bully in the whole school.

3:14- That just says alot about these kids parents. They just drop them here and didn't do any research on Trunchbull at all. They basically sent them here without any thought or reservation because they're probably like Matilda's parents, minus the abuse, and wanted "a break" from their children. This explains why parents ship their children to boarding school because they don't want to deal with them. Makes me think of what Max from Camp Camp said,"That's why we return the favor when they hit 70." So people who were abandoned by their parents by sending them to boarding school, or whatever end up resenting their parents and grow up getting revenge on their parents by putting them in a nursing home as their "punishment" for neglecting them. Thus continuing the hurt people, hurt people cycle.

I don't know which is worse. Being thrown out a window or over a fence, or being locked in the chokey. You could die easily from both, but being thrown out the window or over the fence could lead to broken bones, while being locked in the chokey standing dead straight for hours will make your legs and feet hurt to the point where you can't even walk for at least a week.
