I know you have a long way to go to get her restored, but just seeing it moving, I can imagine it moving under her own power. You must be so satisfied to see those old tracks moving again. Cheers from the USA!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a lot easier than you think, it's not full of holes like most of the wrecks we have had in the yard, you just have to have the time and the vision, most people would walk away, but we are all nutters ;-)

Meanwhile, the Russian tanks that were taken out of the swamp: We are ready to fight again!! After clearing the Тank inside of the swamp mud, you can sit down and press the brake to direct the Tank to the trailer. I saw it on the video. Which was amazing 😲
@514thmick5 ай бұрын
That Russian tanks you watched had not been worked all its life on an Australian farm, I have worked on a lot of Russian tanks, they are crap, sharp edges, bad castings, burn more oil than fuel when you can get them running..

Well we like working on our own stuff, a major part of finishing a restoration off is knowing its your own work that got it running. We know Joe Hewes well, we buy and sell parts to each other but I don't think even he would want to take this on, he likes his more modern stuff, we like the vehicles that nobody else is willing to take on and do it on a shoe string budget.
@ivan.i.gerasimov5 ай бұрын
That’s good to know! Wishing you the best of luck with Matilda, hope she can become at least museum-worthy, if not a runner.
