I auditioned for Matilda and I GOT BRUCE. I am so excited to sing this song UPDATE: we are less than two weeks out from performing and we have like an actual pit orchestra that performs with us and a few days ago I tried singing with them for revolting children but oh my gosh they play so loud and I've gained even more respect for any like on broadway bruce performer ever in my life like they are singing loud enough and hitting those notes and dancing and still sound good? Felt like I was going to pop my lungs with how loud i was trying to sing.

I remember- I danced for around 10 years of my life and when I was younger (5 yrs into dance) I had the beginning of this song the “jack and Jill went up the hill” and we kept it there and did some more dancing. But for the rest of the song. I just realized we did it years later and hoe much we grew. It was jazz class when I was 7 and then when I was 10-11ish it was musical theater and we did the “we are revolting children” and wow it’s so ironic.
