@@manuelorozco7760 I did want to see the musical though. My mom asked she wanted to buy tickets to see it since she found out it was coming to town. I thought she would be bored with it so I decided not to because I didn’t want her to sit through something she would probably not like. However, with the Netflix movie, I offered it for her since we had nothing else to watch. We were not really into the first song and we almost stopped watching. But we continued and we ended up liking it by the end. The ending actually made me cry. This musical was better than I thought it would be.

There is no such thing as a “British Accent” , you mean a English Accent
@rileyswims91576 жыл бұрын
Mkd xo there is such thing as a British accent. Are you British? Because then you might not think so. A British accent is the most well known accent in the world
@siobhankilsby92586 жыл бұрын
No, they're right. Britain is England, wales, and Scotland, which obviously all have very different accents. There isn't one singular 'British accent', and even if you're only looking at England itself, the accents vary so widely. So someone from the midlands, like me, would have a very different accent to someone from Yorkshire or London. The actors of Matilda tend to have what is considered the 'stereotypical' English accent, likely due to the fact that no one actually knows where Roald Dahl meant for Matilda to be set, so the more 'posh', well known accent was chosen. But, yeah, there's definitely no such thing as a British accent. :)

Yes I believe there's 4 total kid swings (2 boys and 2 girls) that each cover 2 of the other child ensemble roles in the show. and there are also 2 adult swings who learn some of the parts too. In one of Lesli's (Plays Mrs. Wormwood) vlogs she shows one of the adult swings and they show her getting ready to go on for one of the kid roles.
