OMGosh When you started to open the door and she 'wobbled' out towards you, the tears started. I had a stroke 7 months ago. I 'wobble'. Nadine you touched me with your story. In August of 2021, I had a severe heart attack, resulted in a triple bypass. My sweet ShihTzu Lucy barked incessantly, wouldn't stop...Im not really sure where I was drifting, the world became black and white on one side of the room, my side. Her side was in color. I'm not sure how long I just stood beside the bed, it was just after midnight. Her barking snapped me back to the present moment. I will never forget her saving me that nite. I lost my sweet girl a week ago. I actually fell asleep, got up and went to the hospital in the morning...where they told me I was still actively having the heart attack. I had been surviving for approximately 10 hours with just enough blood flow to keep my major organs and heart, brain alive. After the triple bypass, and healing, I am extremely lucky. I didn't have any side effects from the heart attack. Nothing. It's amazing to know I had 3 arteries totally blocked and I'm still here, doing great. But what I wanted to say to you...I had to do an emergency retirement....I also live on a SS check. We may not be able to send money...but we can help get the message about Asher House out to the public, who can tell others. And we can offer words of encouragement to Lee and everyone that keeps the rescue thriving. Be good to yourself 🤗

One of my dogs who passed told the animal communicator that the dogs in heaven all gather around to hear him tell his stories of our life together, that they see as admirable. Even though we had a special bond, it makes me want to be an even better person.

Thank you so much for loving this girl. I’m 70 years old and have the same condition as Matilda caused by mini strokes. Mine is not as bad as hers. It’s a loss of balance. It breaks my heart watching her walk, but warms my heart so much to watch you love on her. We all have defects, Lee. Some are visible, some are not. Your big heart more than makes up for any defect you feel you have. I love your channel.

I am sitting in my office with tears streaming down my face. The kind of crying that gives you an instant headache....just heavy sobs. I love this man and all he stands for. If I can do one thing in my life before I leave this earth it will be to visit this mans ranch and see what he has done for these pups. Day by day we will get there and we will feel content not fitting in most places and situations. It’s ok to be different. I hope one day we both find a tribe that makes us feel like we belong. Animals and humans need to feel some sense of belonging according to Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs❤️im not sure if you have any kids or pets but if you do you absolutely matter and belong to them and vice versa.

But I adopted a dog that looks almost identical to Matilda. She has shown me so much love!! She changed my life and showed me how to love myself. I love you Lee..and this video hit home because I'm that black sheep that outcast that person pushed away until one day I found this lil puppy tied with an extension cord to a pole in the cold while other dogs looked on from inside the warm house..it was 8° outside..I took that lil girl and rescued her from those who didn't want her..I know your feeling and that connection..my lil girl SKYE..rescued me..still have her and love her with all of me..God bless you darlin you are one of a kind ♥︎♡♥︎♡♥︎
