I agree with getting rid of Matilija dam, needs to be done. However, since your comments have been removed for the Rose valley lakes video, I thought I would comment here. Why remove Rose lakes if trout can't make it up past the waterfall anyhow? Don't get me wrong, I support conservation, but eliminating the lakes would be ridiculous. Just leave it alone. More people enjoy the area for the lakes than anything else. Trout planting came to an end a decade ago, the lakes have dried out numerous times since then. What invasive species still exist? Just leave it alone.
