One thing you could consider is mounting a winch to the floor inside of the garage. “DD Speed Shop” did it many years ago for just for this reason. He primarily works alone and on 55-57 Chevy’s.

You should hide the ecm and stuff under the dash.

No room. Especially with the factory AC stuff under there or if future owner wants to put an aftermarket ac kit in it. I always put the ecus in the engine bay.
