Firstly thank you for such great explanation, I am wondering if we have a data set in a circle and each point is defined by (radios and angle) is it correct to use the method you provided? and if not can you please guide me on how to do it

Yea that will work. You'll have to interpolate along the larger radius first and then the inner radius and then interpolate the result of the first two interpolations. Makes sense?

@@CarlosMontalvo251 yes it makes sense, i will go through your idea Thank you so much for your reply and your time

I would like to ask you a question about the bilinear interpolation of digital image. Can I contact you privately

I would prefer interacting publicly on KZbin.

hello, great information it really helped me understand how to work with interpolation manually. I have a question though and I am too puzzled to do it. I want to interpolate a 80x100 matrix into a 100x120 matrix (i want to make it bigger in general) and do not know how. Can someone help me with this matter?
@CarlosMontalvo2514 жыл бұрын
That sounds like a neat problem. The easiest thing would be to just repeat a few pixels to bring it up. Another idea would be to interpolate in between data points to increase the size. That would be an interesting screen cast. I think I'll add that to the list.

how about bicubic interpolation, Sir ? thanks for your help
@CarlosMontalvo2514 жыл бұрын
Bicubic? Whoa so you want 2D cubic interpolation? That sounds intense. I'll write it down but I don't think I'll get to it any time soon.
