Had to look this up after you mentioned it..........it's a beauty ......sound & looks ! A bit expensive (for what it is) , however, it's all wood....no laminate . We have the Martin LX1E and love it . It's our "spare" take along guitar on gigs. If one of us breaks a string, we grab the LX1E . Thanks again for all your wonderful, entertaining reviews !

The eml 6 is good and its been refresh with ap5 rather than ap4. The tone and sustain is superb as well. Emil ernebro and frano zivkovic uses eml 6. I have one and mini matons are really king of its category. Both are great minis and they just resonate better than their competitors.

The guitar Urban plays most isn't actually this model. I know that he plays it from time to time, but he actually plays a Maton EBG 808 Vintage Sunburst:) - Google it:) - You can see that they are very similar, but the EBG is a bit larger:)

Yes, he's using both of them, but when i saw him playing "only you can love me this way" on ellen, i was like.. that guitar looks so huge in comparison to the mini. and that when i found out that he accually has his own signature Maton:) the EBG 808 vintage sunburst:)

@circleheii there was two mini matons at Tom Lee in Hong Kong but they are sold out...i was there in late nov 2011 and just there last week and the guy sold the last piece

Suggest you get the emd 6...which is eway better..no laminate for me
