thanks for the video! i was looking everywhere on how to fit a gaussian in my histogram, but they never worked and i wasn't understanding the codes either. your video saved me and i surely understood what you done and teached.

Thanks a lot, I don't know how to choose my p0, is there any way for guessing? Can I guess it by printing some values? What if I only get a vertical line? Is it the problem that my plot has multiple peaks?

Hi Thank you for this nice introduction My question : how to you get the error on the fitted parameters?

Hello Sir , Sir tell me how to know about FWHM (Full Width Half Maxima) . sir actually i'm working on Gamma Spectrometry (Ortec Software) I calculated data during Decay of different elements but i did not know about graph so,please give me a lit bit ideas about that . Thanks In Advanced

Full width at half maximum is calculating by first finding the maximum of the distribution manually. After that you check what are the x values for y values which have the half height of the maximum. The distance between these two.valuea is then called FWHM. Does this explanation help?
