I remember as a kid my parents always compared me with my friends whenever I failed to do anything. So in my ignorance I tried my best to fit into them. I tried making bamboo basket, started making wooden sculpture, started speaking loud and so on. All these made me feel so inferior and insecure that I became so scared of doing anything wrong. I always wanted to please my parents, hear their praises. Grown up now these sense of feeling of insecurity have never left me. It has become part of me.Even before someone judge me I'm my own judge.It always tells me you might be wrong. This song is my story. I wish no parents compare their children with someone's else child. But learn to appreciate their childs uniqueness. Such sick comparison is retarding childs mental, social, emotional and cognitive development. Hope this song enlighten every parents.
