Hi BB, I have the Mosella system and to answer Kirk’s problem they come with three zipped lids and a ground bait pot also with a lid they are really made strong, but it is big and can be awkward on the side tray. I don’t regret buying it, because of the quality and can be used as storage, but the small Preston tray looks perfect for a day’s fishing. Great review again BB👏

Great review as always BB! I kept thinking about picking one up but thought they are a bit expensive for what they do. I got drenched a few weeks ago and all my bait tubs filled up and I ended up with maggots, corn and pellets everywhere. I took the plunge last week and bought the Matrix XL one. Great bit of kit and also helps to keep little odds and ends like scissors, baiting needles, pellet bander and even my phone safe. I've lost count of the number of things I've dropped in because of the big open slots where the adjustable arms are on my Preston side tray.

Tip for anyone who is worried about spillages. Having been a victim of a total upender thankfully only resulting in a few mixed Pellets i now place my Hand Towel over the top of the Tubs just for that added bit of protection when transporting.

Good shout BB. Think I agree that Matrix have the sizing about right. I can see these selling well as there is a definite benefit to having one.

I have the MAP version. As all of them do they keep Bait dry when its raining and the tinted Lids help protect it from the Sun. As mentioned needs to be kept flattish when being transported but i have had a total upender with only a minor spillage of Pellets into another Tub 😊

I have had the matrix for 6 months and would be lost without it. 4 tubs for bait and the other 2 for bits and Bob's you need to hand and my phone. Just need a larger side tray for it now 😅. Excellent content as always BB.

The smaller matrix EVA system is the one to have … it fits into a matrix insulated bait bag with four 3 pint bait boxes on top 👍

I think the Preston and the MAP versions do exactly that too… but that XL gives you so many options and so much space… it is nice though when it all fits in a bag 👍🏻 BB

I've the map pva system, My only bug bind with all the makes, is they don't have lids with the pots, I haven't used mine since I bought it,cause of no lids

I bought my map few years ago, Unless you can put it in the car flat ,your bait will be all over the place, I think the idea is a good one,especially in rainy weather,and if you want the bait preparation the night before for speed at the bank,in matches, most of us don't like those umbrellas or hoods as they get in the way of the landing net, I think eventually the lids will be included The pots themselves are much better than bait boxes, I like the bigger matrix one, I have a preston supera for all my hooklengths,as I use the mag store, So I genuinely think a few tweaks with lids and most of us then will use all the time. Great video BB

I've had both the matrix xl version and the preston version,sold the matrix one just takes up to much room on a side tray but having 6 tubs is very useful,I now use the Preston version but that gave me another problem they dont come as a 6 tub version and preston have no intention of doing one I called them to see if they would do me one but said no😢 I wanted to another 6 tub version just smaller than the matrix one so I had to buy 2 preston ones and swap the tubs over so now I have the preston one with 6 small tubs in and is perfect for what I wanted,sold the other one with the two large tubs in to recover some of the money back,its daft that preston dont do them with 6 tubs in,oh I will say dont ever drop them all your bait falls out and gets mixed up.....dont ask me how I know 😂😂😂

Bb when you say watertight I take it you mean rain can’t get in. The only problem I see with these is they must be kept flat otherwise you’d take it to the bank the next day and it would all just be a mixed together slop.

🙈 yes Matt, didn’t explain that one very well, did I? The pots inside can hold a little water (in your dead reds or corn) and as long as you hold it handle up and store it flat, it’ll keep everything fine for the next day… the lid acts as a canopy to keep the bait dry too… hope that helps 🤦🏻‍♂️ BB
