Oracles sight had nothing to do with experience, she was a program designed to understand human behavior , she can see in the future because she knows why something will happen, but her sight ends and so does Agent smiths because they couldn’t see past why Neo chose to keep fighting when all hope was lost, why Neo would get up

I don’t know why, but it’s nice to hear someone else say that, I’m not too sure if that’s common knowledge, or not. But it should be known. Another tidbit, the actress who replaced her was a close friend of hers that also appeared in a Broadway show, alongside the old oracle. Needless to say, it was emotionally taxing for her to take up the role, just as it was an honor.

I think the Merovingian's role in the Matrix is likely along the lines of being in charge of deleting programs which have either become redundant or are malfunctioning. He has become corrupted by this power, and now instead of deleting programs, he collects those which might be useful to him for service (werewolves etc), and offers the others an ultimatum "pay x or be deleted". Persephone is in charge of the cache of deleted programs, and has the ability to reintroduce them back into the Matrix (just like her mythological namesake).

Basically after watching a lotte these videos about the Oracle, I come to notice her greatest power against everyone is planting a seed and watching it grow, it's why shes the mother of the matrix. The architect is basically just data cause all he looks at is wat we do and builds around it, she looks at why we do wat we do and gets way more data and develops an equation that allows her to predict and see things he can never imagine because he just focuses on the what as it is.

The Architect is too analytical, as the Oracle says, as he views things in terms of equations. The Oracle on studying humanity realized that the cycle she and the Architect planned for order created stagnation. So she planted the seeds of free will to see if she could nudge humanity into breaking the cycle and moving forward, with the mahines that were willing to make peace.

Please cover the part of this scene where the Oracle mentions Sati. She says something like "I believe the girl can do great things for this world, change it." Also the theme of love breaking the cycle: Neo's love for Trinity breaks the cycle of the One AND Neo has a conversation with Rama Kandra where he explains that although he is a program he had developed the feeling of love for his daughter. This is why Oracle helps humans and protects Sati: love manifests even in A.I. meaning that if love is allowed to live on, man and machine will finally be spiritual equals. Peaceful coexistence is possible. The older A.I. cannot see this possibility but faster evolving A.I. that is allowed to exist beyond their forced exile can develop higher consciousness because they have much more perspective having lived through multiple cycles. Another tidbit Sati is a hindu goddess that is daughter of the sage Daska. Rama Kandra behaves as a sage as being the first program to explore the concept of love. Sati exists through various Yuga (cycles of existence) to help mankind. In addition, the machine deity representing the system that holds access to the Zion Archives in The Second Renaissance is reminiscent of a Hindu goddess and encircled by other similar depictions possibly representing the cycles of existence.

Has absolutely nothing to do with the cycles, the Oracle was created to understand human behavior, she was used in the time before the Matrix but later figured out she served an important role being able to understand why humans make their decisions and then able to predict from there. The Merovingian explains it all quite nicely, the power is in the why, you are given the illusion of choice but if you do not know why you made that choice you are lost. Neo has the same power of sight as the Oracle and they both end whenever they don’t know “why” something will happen. Agent Smith couldn’t see past his fight with Neo because he did not know why Neo kept fighting when hope was lost

I believe the Merovingian was previously "The One", but chose to stay in the Matrix, resulting in the destruction of a previous Zion. Neo's commitment to freeing mankind is what drives him to accept the ultimate sacrifice in exchange for the lives of Zion.

When they puch the elevator to get to the club, it says "Hel" and there is even some damage on the writing. This eludes to norse myths where "hel" is the kingdom of the dead. As far as we know there could be an L missing, and it could simply be called "hell". The movie is using hell as metaphor, but the oracle is quite literal, as usual. The oracle says that no one can see beyond the choices they dont understand. While she is a beliver, she doesnt understand Neos choice in the end. This is why she, and Smith, cant see beyond it.

The Oracle does not work by simply “knowing everything in the cycle because she’s lived it before” she was a program smart enough to understand human decisions. The Merovingian explained that the power is in the “why” Agent Smith and the Oracle could not see past why Neo kept fighting when all hope was lost. That’s where the Oracles sight ends, when she can’t see past why someone made their choice

Observing Neo through the trilogy is so interesting. He is so welled up with perception, yet he never struggles to walk a path of sheer determination, save for the time when Morpheus revealed to him the 'desert of the real' in the original causing him to throw up after disconnecting from the matrix. But you already established how much toll it takes on an individual to come to the realisation of the simulation. This also makes me think how much Neo could perceive causality by the end of revolutions. He is wise, perceptive, determined, humble with unwavering loyalty. I named my son Neo. To me, he is a sensational fictional character, up there with Kenshin, although far different but you know what I mean. I thank God that I found this channel, I revel in your content and it helps me disconnect with the world around me which has grown more and more intolerable as I grew up. The "choice" that the Oracle referred to is letting Rama Kandra and Rama give the Merovingian the Oracle's deletion code to spare Sati from deletion. Remember -- Rama Kandra said he consulted with the Oracle before meeting the Merovingian. The Oracle knew what would happen. She can predict program behavior. The Merovingian couldn't turn down the chance to kill the Oracle. Just like the Architect couldnt turn down the chance to make the Matrix almost perfect by integrating choice into the equation. The Oracle knew this -- she is a master manipulator.

The Oracle mentions that the characters may not recognize her because she is being played by a New Actress in real life not the Oracle in the previous movies. Matrix 1 & Matrix: Reloaded (Gloria Foster) who died before shooting the scenes for Matrix: Revolutions. They are acknowledging the change of the actress playing the Oracle as different from the previous movies.

Simulation theory says the real world in the matrix is most likely another simulation, which is probably why Neo was able to use his power there, re enter the matrix from there as he died, and is alive for the next movie. The machines probably make the people think they escaped so they don't try to escape if that makes sense.

If the humans think they are in the real world, they won't realize they are still trapped. The new movie coming out will hopefully explore that option. Hopefully the 4th Matrix movie expands at least a good 10 minutes on Niobe’s character. After all, even though you don’t play as anyone from the Neb in Enter the Matrix you still get to play as the captain of the Logos and see footage exclusive to the game. From everything the game and movies provided, she seems like she would have preferred to have taken the blue pill (like Cipher), but instead of trying to be reinserted into the matrix, and god forbid she betray her team, she probably figured at least she’s fighting for something in the real world. That sounds very much like a character that deserves the extra backstory.

The most interesting part of the dialogue is when the Oracle refers to the Merovingian as a “man” of his word. Isn’t he a program, and not human so why would she call him a man? Or is there more to him than there appears? Perhaps this lends credence to the theory that the Merovingian is an earlier version of the “One”?

The scene between The Oracle and Niobe in the kitchen not only explains how The Oracle works, but also Niobe herself. The Oracle knows full well a skeptic like Niobe cannot be swayed, she needs to experience the change in perspective herself.

The Oracle consulted with Rama Kandra the exile program, on the issue of his daughter Sati's freedom, to once again live in the matrix, without being targeted for deletion - the deal was, offering the oracles shell, for Sati's freedom to live again in the matrix. The oracle had agreed to this before the deal took place. This has nothing to do necessarily with Neo, but I suppose that depends on when Sati was created. If she was created before they ever even heard of Neo, then it has nothing to do with him. Sati was believed by the Oracle to one day become very important to the world of machines and humans. I suppose she felt the same way about Neo, in a way. Perhaps among programs, sati represents an integral anomaly to programs' functioning within the matrix, akin to the anomaly of how humans interact with it. Its hard to say because Smith was shown to have emotions, albeit strictly negative ones of sorts. It may be that other programs had simulated emotions like love, previous to Sati. However, Sati has the ability to design sunsets, implying she can create weather patterns in the matrix. Which could prove important in being able to change the matrix, as she sees fit. I think the oracle feels that Sati and Neo may become allies of sorts in the upcoming film, and the oracle wants to be involved in some way.

The Merovingian what is an architect. The Oracle said, when speaking with Niobe, that he was a "Man of his word"... knowing he's a program and not human... coincidentally, that same verbiage that was applied to The Architect when he was asked, at the end of Matrix Revolutions, if he would keep his word, in which he replied, "What do you think, I'm human"... Just a small similarity I noticed....

I always thought that, when Smith assimilated the oracle, she became the the leader of the Smith agents. Is that true? So, then, Neo was fighting the oracle as Agent Smith. That explains why Smith glitched toward the end of revolutions. Neo caught on, and realized what needed to be done.

This is my understanding as well. One Smith monologues for the oracle, she asks what he did with Sati and a different Smith answers, with a quote from earlier. This would imply that a specific Smith had that memory readily accessible, but not all of them. If thats true, then the Smith he is fighting, who quotes the Oracle, needs to be "her", but overwritten. Of course this says nothing about how their hive mind would work, but... lets just call that another problem.

What i want to know and this may have been covered, is why did Smith want the Access Code to Zion? Was that for his own self or his duty? And what was he gonna do with it? Because Neo was the one with the Code to reset The Matrix. Which was the architects plan.

Interesting how the suit Neo wears in Mobile Ave is very similar if not the same as the one the Merovingian wears in the restaurant. Perhaps there is a deeper meaning to this. Maybe something to look into.

I think what the Oracle means is that she can't see through everything since Neo saved Trinity but she somehow knows this & this alone: Neo made sure to save the Matrix from getting rebooted and thus, perhaps if Neo declares such a silent act to the Zionese, he'll be trusted a LOT more than he was at first and somehow, with everyone in The Matrix working together, they can destroy the machines and libetate what remains of humanity--even if Artificial--and they can all save the Matrix & real world
