Never easy to take on a song that is already much loved by the fan base, sung by a singer that was much loved and where previous performances have been excellent. Congratulations, because you have added another really fine performance. Is much of the challenge of this song, for you as vocalist, to get your voice out in front of the band? You certainly achieve this. The other night I was listening to a perfectly competent soprano struggling at times to get her voice in front of a 60 piece orchestra playing Mahler's 4th Symphony. I thought at times that Lori struggled a bit in this way with this song in Therion too - not a comment on the quality of the singer in either case, but a comment on the difficulty at times of getting the voice as instrument out front.

@@sinclairwhitbourne2090, thank you for your honest opinion! Mats "Lemuria" is the one that everyone love! Me as a singer, I can't say that I had struggles with this song, it's more like a flow! It's so beautiful that I don't think about the technical details, but only going with the flow of the harmony and the music itself.

That lead guitar is stepping on all Mats vocal lines, So annoying. When Mats sings the guitar should be silent!

The original song is like this. The problem that you hear is that the guitar is a bit louder. There's nothing we can do about it.
