Adding or leaving out a word can change/lead to other meanings. To me, 'behind you' is more straightforward. If the clipper had used 'watch your back' I'd have no issue with it.

La+ often says smth like "Heed my call", and a proper answer for her audience is "Yes My Dark". So basically, you have YMD as answer and it's close to Yamada, that's why La+ often teased with "Yamada" answer. You can check tons of videos with this meme.
