Saw Matt & Kim in Houston recently, they were AMAZING! It was impossible to quietly stand and watch, you can't sit still to their music. I have been to a lot of concerts and this was by far the best one I have ever been to, they made it so much fun, really interacting with the crowd, you feel like you are part of the concert and not just watching it. If you ever have a chance to see them GO, you will not be sorry!!!

For those that are saying that this isn't good because "It isn't Matt and Kim", let this paragraph from the email provide some insight. "A heads up, “Get It” may feel a little different to people who only know songs like “Let’s Go” and “Daylight” but if you've been to one of our shows you know we like to get wild to all kinds of music. And that’s part of the beauty i think we found in “New Glow” while there are surely songs that’ll feel familiar to ya'll who know our stuff, i think we were finally able to record the different M&K flavors that make us us." I can't say I agree with "The lyrics are unique" when they've used the phrase "We sing along but the notes are wrong" in two other songs already. They could have spent a few minutes longer on the lyrics if they wanted it to be taken seriously.

Jeff Ayling yo they're really inspired by rap and that's a common thing to do in hip hop: sampling, repetitiveness, and such. Yeah they could've easily changed the lyrics to something else but they used those lyrics specifically as an artistic decision. they got a theme goin on.

When I first heard this I didn't like... For about the first two seconds. Then I thought to myself DAMN this is gonna be kick ass to see live. I've seen the duo multiple times, and out if the 100+ concerts I've been to in general, M&K by far put on the best show. If you've been to one of their shows, you know that this is something they loved putting together. It just sounds so THEM, in respect to what they preform live. Love it. Can't wait to see these guys kill it yet again in Chicago in May. Hell fuckin ya!

I'm not sure how anyone could say they are turning into mainstream pop. There is absolutely nothing mainstream about this song, or any of their songs, which is a good thing. Each song contains so many unique sounds, beats and melodies. Matt and Kim's music is like no other, it just makes people feel happy.

I love this. I've been listening to M&K for years, and I love this a lot. I think a lot of the older fans are kinda falling off but I just think of this as a new style of creating music.
